The United Nations, in article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, wrote the following :

"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and must act towards each other in a spirit of fraternity."

And the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, in Title 1 entitled "Dignity" also insists on the following points :

In article 1, it stipulates that :

"Dignity is inviolable and must be respected and protected."

In article 3, she specifies that :

"Anyone is entitled to their physical and mental integrity."

In article 4, she warns that :

"no one may be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment."

The UN has affirmed that "transgender people have the right to legal recognition of their gender identity and to modification of their civil status (namely the indication of sex appearing in official documents, in particular birth certificates), without excessive or costly constraints being imposed on them."

So, dear transgender friends, you must no longer have any fear or fear of asserting yourself in the gender that is yours. The texts above give you the inalienable right to be yourself, to be who you feel you are in the depths of your intimate personality.

You can and should be proud of yourself, of who you are, no matter what assignment you were given at birth. That you are in question for a while, when you realize this discrepancy between your birth assignment and your feelings, is completely normal. But that you are embarrassed or even ashamed of it should no longer be your feeling following this difference which is not your choice.

And since it is not your choice but what life imposes on you, you do not have to justify or apologize for being outside the societal normality that has been imposed for millennia by this Judeo-patriarchal society. Christian!

So here you have only one choice left: "that of assuming your difference and being happy to be yourself or that of remaining hidden and continuing to be unhappy".

If you have questions, if you want to get help, moral support, if you feel alone, the members of the association are there to help you move forward on the path of the transition that you will choose and decide to do. It is you who, in complete independence, will make the decisions whether or not to take such and such an action without ever having to justify your decisions to anyone.

Transition is your path, unique for each person.

The association will be at your side to help and support you, but never to advise you or make decisions for you. It will expose you to all the existing possibilities for what you have chosen to do, leaving it up to you to choose the option you want to follow.

So you don't have a single reason not to be yourself !
